The
Buck Meadows Lodge and Restaurant offers
some of the most modern lodging west of
Yosemite National Park. The Lodge
and Restaurant are located in the town
of Buck Meadows, just 12 miles from the
West Gate Entrance to the grand Yosemite
Valley.
Buck
Meadows Lodge is nestled
in the Sierra Nevada Mountains within
the recreational wonderland of the
Stanislaus National Forest. The
surroundings offer a natural and
undisturbed forest setting with various
hiking trails that carve through the
gold country.
The
Lodge offers recently renovated queen
guestrooms with all the modern
appointments that you would expect in
the big city. The rooms offer satellite TV, direct-dial phones,
private shower/baths, coffee and tea.
The
Buck Meadows Restaurant is adjacent to
the guestrooms and offers American
cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and
dinner. The Buck Meadows Lodge and
Restaurant is located next to the
Yosemite Westgate Lodge. The Buck
Meadows Lodge and Restaurant offers the
last full-service stop before descending
into the Valley.
Winter Recreation:
Snowfall during the winter can allow from cross-country
and downhill skiing, ice skating, and sledding in certain
areas.
Spring to Fall Recreation:
As the snow melts away, wildlife and
wild flowers flourish allowing nature
viewing, swimming, hiking, back packing,
river rafting, lake and stream fishing,
and horseback riding.
