We requested 2 room changes. The 1st one looked like it needed to be gutted and restored. Carpets were pulled away from the wall, extremely dirty and the bed was unstable and creaky. The second room had better carpets, stinky sheets. 3rd room was clean.
Bad Tags
The towels were extremely thin and frayed in the first room but when we asked for some replacements, they were thicker and not torn. The pool and hot tub were nice and the staff was very easy to work with.

It was nice to have a separate pool the kids could play in because the big pool was a party pool. Not for kids.
Bad Tags
This hotel was definitely not 4 stars. Food was awful and overpriced. We had to move rooms because the first one smelled so bad. No pool service at the smaller pool. The girl at the front desk was extremely rude. Rooms were very outdated.

Only the location.
Bad Tags
This is not a resort and their information makes you think it will be. So was very disappointed with the hotel and the very high resort fee.

Coffee and water in the room included. Wish I came during the day to enjoy amenities and shopping.
Bad Tags
Has the hipster feel, which isn't my thing. But a bed is a bed, which was nice in this case.

The location in Scottsdale
Bad Tags
This hotel is not a resort, much less a four-star resort. It is much closer to a motel, like a Howard Johnson or Travelodge. The rooms are dated, concrete blocks, with extremely small bathrooms, where you enter from the exterior.
