Room rates, inventory, property tax, special fees, and stay restrictions can be managed and updated with RateCatalyst™. You can also control hotel rates and inventory on connected Online Travel Agents using INNsight. You may also customize your website's promotional offers, discounts, and other content, plus get intelligent rate recommendations to maximize performance.
Rate Card
The Rate Card operates very similarly to the Room Management GRID insofar as there is a search function atop which allows you to identify the rates that you have set for any date, room type, room #, or room status.
Rate Wizard
The Rate Wizard is our Calendar Based Wizard which gives you a view of your rates and availability per room type in a calendar view, making it easier than ever to quickly see and edit your rates based on dates.
Bulk Rate Uploader
The Bulk Rate Uploader allows you to see all of your Room Types in one place and set or adjust their rates incrementally upwards or downwards across one or many dates.
Global Rate Manager
The Global Rate Manager allows you to manage your rates and availability across one or many dates but its primary purpose is to allow you to change your rates and availability across the Property Level over long periods of time. To use, simply scroll to the Rate Manager, make your edits and click 'Update'. In order to simplify rate management, we ask for only three rate types:
Stay Restrictions
Stay Restrictions is a wizard that allows you to easily set up min and max night and arrival or departure based restrictions per room type.
Special Event Cancellations
The Special Event Cancellations wizard allows you to set special cancellation policies based on designated special events.
Add Ons
Add-Ons is your tool to generate additional incremental revenue on bookings. Add-Ons is a powerful eCommerce feature where you can set up the sale of ancillary products or services per night or per stay. For example, you can add paid breakfast to the guest’s hotel stay or offer creative products such as special packages that can be easily added to the guest’s reservation.
Markdown Manager
Markdown Manager is our pricing promotion tool where you can mark down your rates and offer promotional pricing on your room rates. By setting up a deal, you can show strikethrough pricing within a standalone website Powered by INNsight. Not only will your prices appear as marked down but the deal itself will be publicized in Google Hotel Search and surfaced in the Rate Comparison Tool widget.
Advance Purchase Discount
Advance Purchase Discount is a Markdown Manager feature that allows eCommerce subscribers to set up a prepaid non-refundable discount for visitors to their website Powered by INNsight.
Rate Comparison Tool
The Rate Comparison Tool is a widget that is displayed on your hotel website which demonstrates rates from online travel agents compared your direct booking rates. This widget manifests itself on the home page and/or the reservations page of your website. On the home page, you will find a layer at the header of the website which when clicked will open up a window allowing the user to compare your website’s direct booking rates to Online Travel Agent Rates. The call-to-action incentivizes guests to book directly on your hotel’s website. The layer manifests itself as a layer on the reservations page as well to further emphasize the direct booking deal.
