Q. How do I make a reservation on INNsight.com?Booking a place to stay has never been so easy. Simply go to INNsight.com and begin a search by place, district, landmark, airport, or directly type in a property's name. Once you find the place that you'd like to stay, you can check rates and availability and book your stay directly with the property by clicking on the 'Book It Now' button for the Stay Details of your choice
Q. How do I receive the confirmation for a reservation?INNkeepers pay ZERO commissions to INNsight if their hotel website is Powered by INNsight. With such a pricing structure, INNkeepers are incentivized to return the cost savings to travelers. In addition, INNsight.com's Markdown Manager provides INNkeepers the tools to create and market their own sales campaigns to travelers.
Q. How do I cancel a reservation? You can simply click here and you will be taken to the Cancellation Request page. You can also access the Cancellation form from My INNsight. Simply fill out the Reservation ID from your reservation and we will pull up your reservation. You can cancel one or any/all of your booked rooms for multiple room reservations. Note that you will only be able to cancel from this form if your reservation has not violated the property's Cancellation Policy. In the case that you are trying to cancel a reservation which is within the property's cancellation policy, you will be required to contact the INNkeeper immediately to cancel directly.
Q. How can I contact the INNkeeper?We've made it incredibly easy for you to interact with the INNkeeper directly. You can easily find the phone number, address, or even skype address of the INNkeeper, or you can 'Ask a Question' using the INNbox, INNsight.com's own internal messaging system
Q. What if I can't remember my password?If you cannot remember your password, simply go to the Sign In page by clicking here and click on the 'Forgot your Password' link below the password prompt. You will be prompted for your email address. We will immediately send you an email which will allow you to reset your password
Q. I registered but am yet to receive a registration confirmation via email?If you have already registered by not received the registration activation email, it is highly likely that emails coming from the INNsight postmaster are being directed erroneously to your SPAM folder. Simply add @innsight.com email addresses to your approved sender list and you should begin to receive notification emails from the INNsight platform.
What if I do not want to receive messages? If you do not want to receive email messages from INNsight, simply update your email notification preferences in My Account.
Q. Who do I contact if I have questions about my reservation?We have built INNsight so travelers can interface with INNkeepers directly. If you have an issue with your reservation or would like to make special requests, simply send a message to the INNkeeper via INNbox.For any issues that you might have with INNsight.com, do not hesitate to contact our helpdesk by emailing email@example.com.
Credit Cards & Privacy
Q: Why do I need to give my credit card details?INNsight.com only requests credit card details to confirm your reservation with the INN on your behalf. INNsight never charges your credit card. The INN can check (pre-authorize) your credit card to ensure sufficient funds are available, however, you will not be charged. The INN will only charge your credit card if you have requested a pre-paid room or if the cancellation policy detailed by the INN has not been adhered to.
Q: Does the hotel need a deposit or a payment in advance? A: Most INNs do not require an advance payment or deposit. If an INN does require prepayment, the INN will detail such a policy under its Property Policies and in your confirmation email
Q: Which credit cards can I use to complete my booking? A: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover can be used on our website. It is possible that the hotel does not accept one or more of these card types. Before making your reservation, please check at the bottom of the hotel policies section for "Accepted Credit Cards.
Q: Can I pay for my stay in advance? A: Most places to stay do not require prepayment so if you are inclined to pay in advance, please contact the INNkeeper after your booking and make necessary arrangements. You can find the INNkeeper's contact information in your confirmation email, the Property's Profile Page or online at My INNsight.
Q: Can I pay for my stay at check in with a different credit card than the one used to make the reservation? A: In most cases the place to stay will accept payment for the stay on a different card or in cash. Please ensure that the new card type or cash is accepted by the property..
Q: Are my credit card details safe? A: Your credit card information is transmitted to us through a secure server. We follow Payment Card Industry Standards (PCI) and use the latest and most secure encryption technology available which encrypts all of your personal and credit card details. The encryption method used is the industry standard "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) technology. Our SSL certificate has been issued by security industry leader GoDaddy.com
Q. How can I register my INN (Place to Stay) with INNsight.com? Fill in the "INNkeeper Inquiry" form and click on "Send". Click here for the INNkeeper Inquiry form. Your property will be evaluated for participation. The next step is to sign our property agreement and finalize your participation by uploading information into the INNsight Property Management System.
Q. Does it cost anything to register my property? It's absolutely free to register with INNsight.com! You pay ZERO commissions! That's right: Zero, 0, Nada, Nothing!
Q. What's the commission rate? We have an industry leading pricing model. We call it The ZERO Commission Model. While many other hotel reservation agencies charge anywhere between 15-30% per room night, INNsight charges 0% commission on the total daily room rate. This intuitive model keeps you, the INNkeeper from paying egregious commissions and squeezing profit margins. We know what it's like to be bullied. We were once INNkeepers too! Q. How do I update availability, rates and other information? You can update availability and rates online via the INNsight Property Management System. Click here to access your PMS.
Q. How do I receive the confirmation for a reservation? You will receive the confirmation by fax (after a booking is made online) and via email. Once a booking is made on INNsight, the guest information will be populated in your Property Management System Graphical Room Inventory Display (GRID). You can access the reservation details at any time by clicking on the guest's name in the GRID.
Q. Where and when does the guest pay for his/her invoice? Q. What is a Standalone Website powered by INNsight.com? INNsight.com's technology has been enabled to support your standalone hotel website. Many hotel websites are lackluster and offer rudimentary reservation booking functionality at best, but with a website hosted by INNsight.com, you leave booking technology to the technology experts so that you can focus on what you do best, that's running your hotel. A website Powered by INNsight means that you will have a fully transactional bookable site which is managed through your My INNsight account. The rates that are displayed in the global search at INNsight.com are also displayed on your own website. When you receive a booking on your own hotel's website, it will appear to the guest as if the reservation was made directly through your hotel's site and you will receive a fax and email confirmation and the booking will be displayed in the GRID in your My INNsight Property Management System.
